Yeah, like you really need bigger.  Come on, it's quattro.  You can take curves at 80 on skinnies, squealing tires the whole time and never know it.

"I'm thinking wider more than taller, and have 7J rims and it's an 86."

I have 16"x7.5" on my car.  Depends on the offset of the rim.  I don't know all the technical stuff on how to figure it out, cause I had some 7" rims that rubbed.  Someone else will have to help out with offset.  Watch tire width, too.
