Pissed off with the same questions all the time

Ya, but Phil has a point regarding the whole exhaust manifold thread...just a
week ago, I and other send several long, detailed posts about this, analyzing
the different options, reasons for failure, pros and cons of each, etc...
Not that I am "super important guy" or anything, but each one of those posts
took a while to write, maybe close to 20 min, and I have learned these things
after years of time spent and thousands of dollars of my own time. Then,
about a week later, some guy says he wasn't paying attention and wants it all
over again!!
If that is what lists are all about, then its futile...
Thing is, all the info is in the archives, all we have to do is go pull it
out and put it in a categorized FAQ. Brenden has been doing a good job at
getting one started, but Audifans should really have an official one, where
we compile the information to the same old problems, and move on to explore
new ones. I would be a willing helper, I am sure others would be too. Also,
the info in the archives is not always reliable, dare I say it, many people
post to the list out of their A**, they have no BTDT, and relay information
as an expert, when in reality they have none. If its in a categorized
outline we can look at it and ensure the info is "official' and correct.
So, I am willing to help, what's next?

problems? The new problems idea could prove troublesome since there isn't
many things that have not been discussed. This is the reality of a list.
New people with old problems or simply vetern listers with faulty/no memory
of the old discussion.
A FAQ would be great. Been waiting on one for years. This should evidence
the size of the task. The archives are not always the answer, as it is
nearly impossible to say the right words all of the time to illicit a good
search.
