Howdy,
Well I've gone ahead and started ordering the parts to refurbish my
suspension. The main thing I'm worried about is getting the driveshaft
pressed out of the hub. The Bently shows a puller being used (otc
827-b). What is the recomended method? Should I buy an equivalent
tool? And if so any recomendations? Bang on it? I like buying tools
so I don't mind getting the correct tool for the job.
Decided to go with the koni h&r combo. The front shocks are externaly
adjustable, haven't gotten them yet so I don't know if they come with
instructions regarding settings, may have more questions once I get 'em.
I have done an archive search but I couldn't find much.
Also, any recomendations for alignment shops in the SF Bay Area? I seem
to recall that I should let everything set in for about 1000 miles
before the alignment? I will be replacing as many bushings and tierod
ends I can.
Regards,
Thor
