Thr driveshafts shouldn't be a problem, a puller will do the trick
(and I know you've wanted to buy one). The things that gave me
trouble on my 84 were the lock nut top of the strut and the collar on
top of the strut tube (the biggesh thing that hold the shock
cartridge in the strut) .
An impact wrench will do nicely for removing lock nut but to install
it without spinning the shaft you'll need a very offset box end
wrench or a special socket.
The collar hold the cartridge should have a large internal hex, again
wanting a special tool. I was able to a plumber's "inset drain
wrench" for this, but ruined it in the process -it's just a steel
tube squeezed into a hex shape, and is worth exactly what it cost.
good luck -Brian
