Having worked in the aftermarket, Marc is exactly right, that is what it
comes down to, how scalable the demand for a part is. Why do you think you
can get a set of 8 Forged Small Block Chevy rods for $400? Because they will
sell thousands of sets.

Poor 2B is offering these downpipes, but they are no means ripping anyone
off, its worth every penny, especially considering the parts alone cost over
$3-400, plus the laser cut flanges and the quality of fittament.

Like Marc says, learn how to do it yourself... I will be making a 3" DP for
my header too, but its time consuming and takes a certain level of experience
and facility to make such a piece.

On-the-otherhand, chances are you don't really need a 3" DP, have one made
that flares up from the wastegate outlet, what I had on my car until recently.

I gave up on buying pre made custom things like that because of cost.
Instead I made an investment in a TIG welder and I'll just fabricate one
myself. Who knows.. maybe if it doesn't take me too long I'll make up a
 couple of them. >>
