Yeah but definately not the first you've heard about Audi being dickheads
when it comes to warranty work. They NEVER want to fix anything. Lifter tick
under warranty, "Oh no I don't hear anything" Water pump replaced 3 times,
each time they were very un-willing to fix it. Broken trunk latch told my
parents "Your kid (me) must have put a popsicle stick in there and jammed
it" it was really a latch that failed, they wouldn't pay for it. It failed
under warranty, but the service department was closed, and after a long
weekend when the service department opened, the warranty was out. I'm sure
everyone on this list has stories about Audi not fixing stuff under
warranty. That's why there is no way I'll get a new Audi, or my parents.
Messing around with a 13 year old one is great. I work on it myself, if
something breaks I fix it, and I don't get frustrated when the dealer won't
fix it under warranty. I think I remember Derek having trouble with the
dealer with his S4. If you're reading this did you get it all sorted out? I
hope so.
Woah that got long, sorry guys.
Mike
