Hi,
I haven't seen an Autometer probe that I would want to install befor the
turbo yet, but honestly it was a year since I checked their probes.
But since the Autometer EGT gauge and interface box is in one box and the
probe ordered separately you could get a VDO probe instead. Three friends of
mine has used the VDO probes before the turbo for over two years now. Two of
them use Autometer gauges with them. Dont get the VDO gauge, it is an
uncompensated unit. That mean that the temperature at the gauge will affect
the reading. Somehow the same probe also responds a lot quicker with the
Autometer gauge then with the VDO gauge.
