Heater not working right on 5KCSQ

Probably blower motor on the way out. Another way to "kick-start" the
blower is to open the sunroof or a window while traveling at 40 or more
MPH. You might be able to get temporary improved performance by spraying a
lubricant (I used a spray that had teflon in it) into the breather hole at
the base of the motor mounting in the heater core box under the rain
diverter between the base of the windshield and the top of the
firewall. If you pull off the gasket and gently pop off the clips holding
the rain diverter to the top lip of the firewall, you can raise up the
center of the diverter enough to expose the heater core box. The part of
the box where the blower motor is mounted is on the driver side of the box
near the front and there's short rubber duct going from the fan housing to
the motor housing that takes cooling air to the motor. You pull that hose
out of the motor part of the box and spray inside. Some folks have used a
screwdriver to push the one motor brush you can see through the hole to
make sure it's not hanging up. There's lots of blower motor write-ups you
can find by doing a Google search on the audifans.com website.
