Question for QLCC users

Hi Gang,

I recently bought a MAC10 with a QLCC chip for my '87 5kCSQ. I have
been running a "Charlie Spring" and resistor mod. in my MAC11C for
about 8 years now. I "think" that the QLCC may be spooling up to max.
boost a bit faster than my previous set-up; this is just a gut feeling.
But I am now getting an oil symbol light at high rpm's under full
boost. I never had this happen before. I am running fairly new
Mobil1(1k miles) 10W-30 where I normally run Amsoil 10W-40...could I be
cavitating the oil pump in the Mobil1 or is this just a peculiarity of
the QLCC?!?! I was told that the only difference between the MAC10 and
the MAC11C was the coding on the EPROM and with the QLCC chip there
should be no problems and that seems to be the case except for the oil
warning light and the ~2MPG I've lost or misplaced somewhere:-(

TIA,

Shef
