Question for QLCC users

A combination of hard acceleration and low oil level will set off the
oil pressure alarm on my '86. I had a low oil level from using a
relatively lightweight oil - the car seems to drink the lighter
weight oil faster.
The -30 oil will be thinner and could contribute to lower oil pressure,
but that should only be a problem at lower RPMs.
Other than giving slightly more acceleration, I don't see any way
a chip mod could cause this.
