An interesting thing I've noted is the "stability" of Audi prices.
In 1991, a 90Q20V went for $33K. Today, the equivalent A4Q2.8 goes
for about $33k. My old '89 100Q was about $38K. My new '00 A6Q was
about $39K.
Compare that with something like a Honda Accord. In 1989, they went
for $10K. Today, they are $23K. (Note: numbers pulled out of thin air)
All things considered, Audis have become something of a bargain.
10 years ago, they were "high priced luxury cars". Now, they are
not much more expensive than many other cars which offer (IMHO)
far less.
