Rt. 17 Strikes Again (What a Drive!)

Well I installed some new speakers into my door pockets today, thank you
Huw for the amazing speakers! So since the heat in the house is out and the
car has new speakers it was time for a little joyride. I headed up to Rt17,
VT folks will know this, otherwise know as ApGap. It's a very twisty hill
climb, goes on for quite a long time too. Anyways I got about halfway up
and found myself stuck behind an A4q1.8t and a Blazer going rather slowly.
When the road went straight for all of 100ft both the A4 and I went for it.
I figured I'd have to pass him next or go slow the whole way up, but I was
severely wrong. The white A4 pulled away quickly so I jumped on it too. He
proceeded up the road faster than I had ever chanced it, but I figured it
was time to really find out what the car could do this time. I stayed right
on his butt most of the way up, this was straight up track driving, full
throttle as long as possible, late braking, a little chirping and sliding,
but man was it fun to have someone to play with like that. I really need to
get to the track if it's this much fun; I always go solo because I don't
know any really quick drivers up here. I followed the A4 into a parking lot
in Waitsfield and dropped my window. Gave him a nod and complimented him on
the driving, he replied, "likewise," and proceeded to go grocery shopping.

The 90q20v can play with a 1.8t easily; I thought the 1.8t would be
pulling away on every straight, but not true, neck and neck the whole way
up.

Thanks a ton!
