Stereo wiring in '90 80Q, no switched DC?

factory radio = always on.  You have to turn it off manually.  Thus
there is no ignition-switched power nearby.

You will find, i think, if you look in the area of the aux relay panel
to the left of the steering column, a yellow bus thing that is the same
size as a relay socket.  If memory serves, that bus is ignition
switched.  Just take a wire with a 1/4" female on one end and (maybe
fuse it) run it to your radio.  remember there should still be an always
on battery wire to it as well for memory, etc.
