Series 200 to Series 100 Headlamp conversion

Both the headlamps on my 200 are shot and neither of the alternatives of
paying VAG stupid money for new ones or a tiresome and lengthy trawl
around the breakers are attractive (the 200 was a pretty rare beast in
the UK). On the other hand, 100 Series cars are pretty common. Has
anyone out there BTDT with regard to doing a headlamp swap, Audi 200 to
Audi 100? By the way, the car is really too far gone to be considered
worth preserving for posterity so maintaining the original appearance is
not that important to me. It'll probably be looking a sight worse soon
if I don't do something with the existing lights!
