NO Audi Content, need electronics person

Just wondering if there are any electronics geniuses out there that
could help me out.
Installed compact flourescent bulbs in a "retro-fitted" ceiling fan,
there's only one power circuit to the fan/light combo. I want to use a
ceiling fan remote, but all of them have dimmers for the lights, which I
obviously can't use with flourescent. Anyone out there have any ideas on
how to disable the dimmer for the light circuit so that it's just
on/off, no dimming?
