Hot start problem - What else can I do?

I'd check that the fuel injection cooling fan (if so equipped) is
working properly. If not, you may be experiencing vapor lock. If
that's working fine it might be the injectors themselves. I'd also
check the cold start valve and temp sensor and related wiring, if so
equipped. As you can tell I'm not familiar w/ the V8 but if it's
anything like the other type 44's it should share those parts. Can I
assume your new fuel pump came w/ a new check valve? Bad check valves
notorious for causing hot start problems. Good luck.

Subject: Hot start problem - What else can I do?

Hi all,

I have had a hot start problem on my V8q for nearly a year. Basically
the
scenario is that I drive for at least 15 - 20 minutes, stop the car,
come
back about 20 - 30 minutes later, the car won't start. If I wait for
another
20 - 30 minutes it starts and runs fine. By the way I have tried
pulling
codes and nothing comes up.

This is what I have replaced to date:
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Timing reference sender

What else could it be? Any thoughts/insight on what my next steps
should be
will be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Justin Bowers
