I was at a Jeep dealer a while ago (sister-in-law bought a
Cherokee as an, ahem, fixer-upper).

The service guy told me that they will not even WORK on a Jeep
that is more than 10 years old!

How arrogant. What does that say about loyalty! At least the parts
guy had some sympathy and helped us try to find some parts we needed.

If I had ever had an Audi dealer tell me they wouldn't work on my
'89 100Q, I would have thrown a fit. Not that I would ever be caught
at a dealer, of course :-)

I also don't understand the comment "don't earn them money."
Why don't they earn them money? They need lots of repairs, and
$75/hour on your '88 90Q is the same as $75/hour on my '00 A6Q.
Your '88 probably needs a lot more hours, too :-)
