Canon S110 $399, Nikon Coolpix 775 $399 or Olympus 3000 $499 if you're
interested in good quality photos w/o breaking the bank. The Canon and
Nikon come w/ rechargeable batteries and charger, the Olympus does not.
You can get good results using most inexpensive color printers but for
nice, borderless 4x6 photos I'd recommend the HP100. If you're just
going to be emailing pics then you can go w/ something in the $199 to
$299 range. Try www.cnet.com for comparisons.

Subject: Digital Camera Recommendations - for documenting auto repairs?
Folks:
Bit off topic, but I'm getting tired of using a 35mm camera, getting the
film developed, then having to scan the pictures (if they come out),
when I
want to document a repair on one of my Audis.
Any recommendations?
The fact that I also have a high demand for pictures of my 2 year old
and 3
week old boys also is a motivating factor ;^)
TIA
