I was saying the 4000 has the same 5 (FIVE) cylinder as in the Quantum.
There were some quantums with a 4 cylinder yes, but if your parents had one
with a 16v, someone swapped it in which seems pretty unlikely. All the
Quantum 4 cylinders sold were 8v as all the 5 cylinders were 10vs. I suppose
someone could have swapped in a 16v from a GTI/GLI/Scirocco, but that is
HIGHLY unlikely.
