Need Audi 100/4000 Quattro Help!

The factory repair manuals, if you have them, list the proper order. 
I'd recommend the paper version(it's more practical than the CDROM 
version; though I've heard search capabilities are nice, the diagrams 
are supposedly much worse and, let's put it this way..laptops are not 
nearly as forgiving as a big softcover book in automotive 
environments(not many laptops can have oil spilled on them, get run 
over, dropped, etc :-)

Do you mean simply as a replacement, or as a performance upgrade?  If 
you mean as a replacement, then Midas can do a fine job...and I 
recommend them because there's a rather good warrantee; the system is 
nothing special.  It was somewhat of a running joke between us and 
the local Midas shop; they replaced the system three times every two 
years, almost to the exact day.  The last time we were there, the 
manager jokingly asked us if we wanted to make an advanced 
appointment :-)  Still, who cares?  They always did a good job 
installing it, never screwed anything up...and it was free each time 
save the first...

Have you tried checking to see if voltage is getting to the pump at 
all?  Checked for blown fuses, etc?
