how to get to right engine mount?

Hi listers.

I have subframe off. Right engine mount is cooked - I removed 2 nuts and
mount dropped leaving threaded rod in the engine bracket.  I anticipated
15-30 min job to it out and replace with new mount. Oops!  I was wrong.
I spent 1 hour under the car trying to devise a method to remove the
stub.  Then started to remove air filter housing and metal shield around
turbo and downpipe. I did not finish it yet (it is interesting: I have 2
similar cars. I can take out air filter housing in one of them and can
not do in another.  I need to compare hight of O2 sensors, I think ).
What is the easiest method to get to the right engine mount upper nut?
Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
