Interior Temp Sensor

Hi everyone,
My 89 100's fan blower has quit. Actually not 100%. It will kick on just
a little and then die off. In running through the climate control
diagnostics, it shows an open on the roof temp sensor. I've undone the
access panel on the roof and sure enough the temp sensor is unplugged.
The problem is that I can't find where to plug it back in to. My only
thought is that it should connect to a wire as opposed to anything
related to the roof motor mechanism that I can see. Does anyone know if
this wire should be coming in from the left side or right side as I face
front?? I've looked and felt around and can't seem to find it. If I know
what area to look in then I can concentrate there. I appreciate all your
help.
