QLCC and MAC 11/12

[Thanks to all (Bob, Smitty, Phil, et al) whom have replied. I'll dive
into the footwell this weekend, tho Phil's post seems to say I've likely
a  MAC-14 and won't be able to use QLCC. Thus possibly endeth the budget
boost solution.

But you should be able to do the resistor mod.  You would want to use a
conservative value to start around 800ohm, or trial and error with a
variable pot - use linear taper ( not audio taper).  Limit low end by
putting a fixed value resistor(like the 470 ohm) in series with the pot.

Question:  Does the MAC-14 limit the boost to 1.5 bar like the MAC-11, or
does it have a higher shutoff value programmed?
