Yes, but it is generally considered polite to ask permission to 
either link to, or copy, the image.  For example, Greg Amy asked me 
if I minded if he put image tags pointing directly to my server, on 
one of his pages, for a few of my images of his car I had 
taken(specifically for him.)

However, I think that if this is the biggest problem we're all having 
today, we're having pretty good days, yes? :-)
