Rear fog LIGHT, or LIGHTS?

Yes.  On recent Audis, the center console switches (fog lights, ESP,
hazard blinker) are all "click touch" type buttons.  These buttons merely
signal a ECU somewhere.  There is software and relays behind the scene
doing the real work.
