does this sound like a good deal? - Re: do 5kS 4-bolt wheels fit a QuantumSyncro?

I have seen/drove the quantum Synchros, and I personally like the 4kq a LOT better- it's a much more refined car than the VW Quantum Synchro. Some folks like those Quantum Synchros, and there are alot of parts these cars share, but for $1850 and the issues that car has, you can find a good, solid 4kq no problem, and be happier about the money you have spent. Heck, I paid LESS than that for my 4kq!! You might not have all the wheel options of a 4x100 VW, but wheels are not the ONLY option one should base their decision on. I have a VW freak that has dumped ridiculous amounts of money into expensive wheels for his VW Sciroccos (2), GTIs (2), VW pickup truck, and his Corrado VR6. I think he has like 8 different sets, well over 6 grand in wheels and tires. His cars, with the exception of his Corrado, couldn't fetch that much if he sold ALL of them. Truly a fetish if you ask me. When I first got my 4kq, the first thing out of his mouth was, "You need to throw some BBS Rx's on this t
hing, man". Sorry, I WONT spend 2500 dollars on wheels and tires on a car worth well less than that!! I'd like to keep it on the road and running well, thank you. Sorry about the rant, but I guess we all have our weaknesses, don't we? Anyhoo, keep looking for a 4kq and be CHOOSY. You have the right.
