For the swappers-S6 engine

I strongly urge anyone considering this swap to take a close look at the
engine, particularly as installed in an A6 since it is of similar size to
the earlier cars under the hood. I've seen a couple of these motors both in
and out of vehicles and it makes the standard type-44 electrical system /
follies look well thought out - well, maybe not the CIS or doorhandles :-)
Notice the ridiculously stupid stock filter location, various little bits of
coolant hoses that are anything but accessible yet inches away from exhaust
manifolds, hopelessly complicated wiring loom thanks to e-throttle, and the
added complexity of variable cam phasing (along w/ its control scheme of oil
hoses, running all over with zero clearance in some places.. think
abrasion)? Then there's the issue of attempting to get the production
processor to behave while running the car in a diff't body w/ integrating
drive by wire. I guess one could delete the whizzy stuff but then you'd
still be faced w/ lots of plumbing to integrate and back date..
yuck! I pity anyone attempting this.
