5k sedan/Avant light bar swaps

Hi all,

I now have the sedan Treser lights and had an old 5k Avant light bar lying 
around, so I put the two next to each other to see if they would be 
swappable. The answer is yes, with some mods.
There's an extra flange on the lower edge of the sedan bar, but it's part 
of the black plastic backing and would be easy to remove with a sharp saw, 
with no damage to the light bar. I don't know what this is for, so I'm not 
sure if Avant lights on a sedan would work. The curvature seems identical, 
though the horizontal indent dividing lower and upper lights in the sedan 
bar might look a little strange on Avants.

Does anyone know if 5k taillights fit a 4k? Someone told me the reflector 
bars are identical between type 44 sedans and type 85s, but I haven't seen 
this myself.
