You have to modify the center part to make it fit the narrower type 85
body, but otherwise, they'll fit. Several people here in Norway have
installed V8 lights on their type 85 cars. Most of them remove a small
bit in the middle of the center bar - if done properly, it's invisible
in the reflective section, and the license plate hides the "seam" on
the black plastic. The V8 lights _do_ look very good on the type 85
cars too..
