All parts that aren't specific to the number of cylinders, are the
same as the 4-cyl 1.5/1.6 VW diesel found in old VWs.. Pistons, piston
rings, valve assembly etc. are the same. The cylinder heads have a bad
habit of cracking, then you're in trouble.. A new I5 diesel cylinder
head runs about $1500.. :-(
