Tranny Install from Hell

i had a bit of a nightmare, very similar to this on my cgt. jack the front
of the block up (possibly loosen front mount/stop to allow more movement).
If possible do this with the car in the air, rolling around on your back
with a gearbox sucks. Check the alignment of your clutch, then double
check, and triple check, it may appear to be lined up, but chances are it
isnt. Its worth buying/making a tool for this job. i thought mine was spot
on, but no joy, so i loosened the clutch, re centred, still nothing, third
time lucky and it went in. Incidently it can take some force, i had to use
2 crowbars to remove my gearbox, and half as much (one crowbar, lol) to put
it back in.
