What a day...my new Audi...and yet another run in with the law.

to start this off...this MAY turn into a rant, I've had a very...interesting day.

I'd headed to Ithica NY to go check out my new obsession, er I mean Audi, and on my way there I proceeded to get lost in the city of Ithica. I'd gotten into the wrong lane, and then realized I had wanted to make a left, so I put my blinker on..and when the car in the left lane didn't move I'd assumed he let me in. I then turned left. big mistake.

Upon being pulled over the officer told me he'd asked the guy if he let me in, He claims he was told no, and in addition to that he also claims he saw no blinker. funny I mean i DID see it in my instrument cluster, and my gf and I DID hear it...so....grr. so then I hand over my liscense and registration, and ask if he's going to give me a ticket..he said he hadn't decided. keep in mind the directions were in plain view and we were looking them over. we. were. lost.

OK...blood pressure starts to fall a bit..then I see him motioning me to his car. ok...I go over and then I'm told that I need to look at his screen. he points out that my car is uninsured and has been since sept. 15. hmm. thats funny. it IS insured, the premiums HAVE been paid. but. they have it as uninsured. so I'm now stuck with a ticket. and also I have no car. an hr away from my school. lovely. 

I love how insurance companies and DMV's cooperate with each other so marvelously. 

But...it makes up for it a bit...why I was in Ithica.
I put down a payment for my new to me 1991 200q20v. pearl white, black sport int, all options, originally a texas car...with 76k original miles...and for only....$2300. yes. 2300. I am one lucky SOB. Ofcourse there are some small problems which'll have to be taken car of i.e. ufo's lack of TLC. but after driving that car just WOW. what a beautiful car. I can't wait until I finally take possesion of the car.

Sorry about that rant there, but IPD has gotten me a bit...pissed off to say the least.
