high idle after cleaning ISV?

Suject says it. I cleaned the ISV with WD-40 and a toothpick and replaced a 
hose comeing off of it that looked kinda ratty. It was a cloth-covered one 
that seemed to be falling apart. I replaced it with the only thing I had 
around...an overflow tube from the gas tank of my motorcycle. The idle is 
around 1100---it was around 900 before I cleaned the valve.
