TAP modded K26?

Ken, I don't know much about the TAP turbos, but I would tend to think there are many better options out there in turbo choices. First off, majesticturbo.com will take your garden variety K26 and do a 10 degree clip on the hot side, and incorporate the K27 cold side impeller inside the K26 compressor housing. Thus, it bolts up just the same, but can move considerably more air- $600. Also, the Garrett T3 turbo is available with the K26 hot side housing so it will bolt up, but is much more efficent and better flowing than the K26, and this opens up options for hybrid T3/T4 turbos too (what I will be using soon).

Chances are the TAP turbo is overpriced for being so far behind the game, I would look to other sources IMO.
