Help! My dash lights don't work

Can't tell you for sure, as you didn't mention what type of car you
have.
If you have a 4000 style light switch (cylindrical shaped, rotate to
turn on lights) I would suggest that the switch is fried, and you may
have melted the connector.
You'll have to find a new or used switch to eliminate the problem.

Don't hold your high beams in the "flash to pass" mode...  That kills
em' off right quick.
