I believe that you are thinking of the 1966 Paris Salon show car, the 365 P
Special which was built on the previous year's race car chassis. The two
"passenger" seats were slightly towards the rear of the car. Two more
examples were built later. If I remember correctly, and that is getting hard
to do, the comment of the day was something like: "Now you can take BOTH of
your girlfriends along!"
