Alan, a turbo from a 1.3l engine will be WAY too small. It will be spinning
the same amount as it did making 7psi in the metro, but in your car it will
be spinning that fast just to break even and make 0psi. Actually making any
boost with it would be very dangerous because of the astronomical speeds it
would have to spin. Instead get yourself a larger Garrett, or what I would
do, if you don't want any of the KKK crap, get yourself the Mitsubishi TD-04
from a 90+ Volvo 940/740. They spool up VERY QUICKLY and are designed for a
2.3l engine. You will be making boost by 1500 RPM. Have one on my 940 and
its awesome. Has an internal compressor bypass valve too.
