4kq: high plains drifter

In another in my series of what may be basic queries... (the exhaust bolts
being a low water mark)

My 4kq seems to require an inordinate amount of steering correction to keep
stable on the highway at speeds above 65mph. Even taking into account the
car's susceptibility to cross-winds, it just doesn't seems to track well.

Not long ago I replaced my shocks/springs, but have yet to do the 4-wheel
alignment. Yeah. Seems obvious. But would the tracking problem be
noticeable only at higher speeds? (btw, the steering feels tight and
accurate.)

Ugh... those crosswinds on the plains of Illinois!

Blowin' in the wind,
Mike
