The underhood configuration of old I5 equipped cars is terrible. Just
a mess, with hoses and wires everywhere.. It became a bit better with
the NF/NG, but no real improvement until the 20v engines appeared.. My
MC-2 look like somebody just put in the engine and threw 50 lbs of
wires on top of it.. 

MB and BMW is a bit better, but the japanese are the best.. Nowadays
all car manufactures just puts a plastic lid on top of the mess.. :-)
