Ti hits the nail on the head, 12V for Avant, 30V for sedan.
The Carfax is wrong for the Avant only, mine comes up with the same, hence
my exact same question a couple of months ago.
I hope the premium was not too bad, I paid $14k for mine from a Saab dealer
who could not have been more excited to get rid of a leaking, starter motor
burning Audi wagon thingy.

>No tiptronic. How do you explain why the VIN comes back as a 30V?
>Damn, I paid a huge premium over a 96 A6 just so I could get the 30V.
>Do I have a recourse against the dealer?
