Since the dash is trash anyway, just glue it down with
contact cement. If you don't want it to be permanent,
a couple small squares of Velcro(tm) in the corners
and center should keep it in place.

I've thought about making a dark gray one to cover
my Platinum Gray dash that reflects badly in the
windshield on a sunny day.

There's nothing worse than having to stare at a
cracked dash or look through the reflective glare
of a shiny dash. Ruins the whole driving experience.
