what is causing leak in steering rack? Anybody rebuilt it?

Kneale,
I changed the hose from SP to bomb and if it was clogged then I brakes would be
affected. But it isn't. The hose to rack was not changed or removed.
I wonder, is it possible to remove rotary valve from valve housing for
inspection?
