Almost none know how to use the adjuster, 8 out of 10 don't even know
what it is... 

I have this (non-working) in my 200TQ, but my V8q (US model that never
found its way out of Germany before I bought it) does not have the
adjusters. I believe the V8 have pneumatic adjusters, all the other
"old" Audis have electric adjusters..
