First, mine is not a T44, it is a T8G, a version of the T89. It is actually a
mix of T89 and B4, as it has the B4 front end (both cosmetical and mechanical).

The headlight adjusters were standard equipment in Germany, where my car was
sold new. There, cars gotta have either driver operated or automatic range
adjusters, by law. Cars sold in Norway and most other markets did not have this
unless ordered by buyer.
