Mike-
There are a few points that you need to keep a close eye on with the
2.7T engine:
Throttle Body Boot (the infamous TBB)- apparently, these tear quite
often, although current S4 owners are not certain whether this is due
to the old design hose clamps (not used on current production) or if
the boot itself is just a bad design.
Bypass valves- the factory Bosch valves seem to fail with regularity
on the 2.7T, so you should keep an eye on them or simply replace them
with the Forge, Bailey or TurboXS valves, of which it appears that
everyone has had good experiences with.
Engine oil- these cars like lightweight oil and should be run on
synthetic 0W30 or 0W40 after break-in. Amsoil Series 2000, Mobil 1
and possibly other brands have this weight.
As these cars don't have afterrun pumps, make sure you run the car
gently and let the turbos cool down before you shut the car off.
