emergency brake cable snapped?

    Well, Its a funny old world isn't it, only 2 days agp I was asking if
anyone else had ever popped the m10 nuts off their threaded e-brake rod. My
bet is thats whats occured, -  It only takes one big jerk. If it turns out
that the nut has flown off the rod, get 2 replacements from the dealer
 you'll find the partnumber if you trawl the last 3 days of the archive on
subject 'threaded rod' ) and lock them together on the rod.

    If you unlucky then the rod has rusted and snapped, but thats less
likely. Unless your name is Dan.
