We are in great shock here in Saipan in the time zone where America's day
starts. (+1000 UTC we are 1400 miles south of Japan)  We woke up on our
Wednesday to the news that the WTC and Pentagon had been hit by hijacked
planes.  I guess the events actually occured at our Midnight.  Our airports
are also closed to incoming and outgoing flights since we fall under the
FAA's rule.  Our radio stations have dropped their normal programs to air
special reports from AP News and NPR.

We are praying that God will bring comfort to those who have lost loved ones
by these four awful tragedies.
