Oil squirters on 2.3? 20v compression?

A wile back I read something that suggested that the 2.3 (NF or NG, maybe
both) had the oil jet to squirt the backside of the pistons. Can anyone
confirm this? I am seriously considering getting a 2.3 and running a 7A 20v
head with it. People have suggested this would give around 8.5:1
compression. Does anybody have any ideas on how to figure out what the
compression would be? Also, is the 20v head less prone to knocking? The
factory runs ~9.5:1(!) compression on the UR-S4 and S6 cars and a lot of
boost pressure is used.
