hmmmm. The cruise switch is just that - does nothing else. The clutch
pedal arm does touch on it when at rest, of course, that's what keeps it
closed. The partthat touches the pedal would be the moving part of the
switch and it sounds like the switch is broken and you could use a new
one. or a used one. They abound in junkyards...
