The tach, no idea.
The heater valve? I'm assuming that you mean you went under the hood and closed
the lever all the way... If this is the case, I have seen a few where even
though the lever is moved to the end of it's travel, the ball valve inside is
not, thereby letting some coolant pass.
Blau makes short shift kits and they seem to get good reviews. No personal
experience with one however.
Which shifter bushings?
